Temur Mana Rocks (MTG Artifact Acceleration)

Find Temur (green-blue-red) mana rocks and artifact ramp for Commander. Explore artifact acceleration synergies in green-blue-red decks.

Temur needs mana rocks less than non-green combinations since green handles the heavy lifting with land ramp and dorks, but the rocks Temur does run benefit from blue's untap synergies and red's aggressive deployment. Kinnan, Bonder Prodigy makes every rock produce an extra mana, Dramatic Reversal untaps all rocks for burst mana turns, and red's haste-enabling commanders like Maelstrom Wanderer cascade into rocks that immediately start producing. Temur's rock strategy focuses on a lean package of high-impact pieces amplified by blue's artifact manipulation rather than loading up on every two-mana rock available.

Blue Untap Synergies and Red Speed Amplify Each Rock

    • Kinnan, Bonder Prodigy adds one mana whenever a non-land permanent taps for mana - Sol Ring produces four, Mana Vault produces four, every Signet produces two colored
    • Dramatic Reversal untaps all non-land permanents - with three rocks producing three-plus total mana, this is a ritual, and with Isochron Scepter it's infinite
    • Izzet Signet, Gruul Signet, and Simic Signet cover all three Temur color pairs for two mana each - efficient fixing that Kinnan doubles
    • Talisman of Impulse, Talisman of Creativity, and Talisman of Curiosity provide colored mana at one life per tap - acceptable for aggressive Temur strategies
    • Maelstrom Wanderer's double cascade can hit mana rocks on the way to bigger threats - cascading into Sol Ring or Arcane Signet while deploying an eight-power hasty commander

No Black or White Means No Tutors or Stax Synergies

    • Without black, you can't tutor for specific rocks - no Demonic Tutor or Vampiric Tutor to find Sol Ring or Mana Crypt in your opening turns
    • No white means no Esper Sentinel, Drannith Magistrate, or Stony Silence asymmetry - Temur can't easily shut down opponents' rocks while keeping its own
    • Blue's Fabricate and Whir of Invention search for artifact rocks directly - less flexible than black tutors but specifically finds the rock you need
    • Green's Collector Ouphe and red's Shattering Spree can destroy opponents' mana rocks while you lean on creature and land ramp - a different form of asymmetry
    • Red's Vandalblast is the best one-sided artifact sweeper in Commander - overloading for five mana destroys every opponents' rock while keeping yours intact
